From January 31st to February 3rd, 2012 in Stuttgart, the European Professional Competition for Carpenters offers a particular highlight in the framework of the ROOF+TIMBER International Trade Fair 2012. Young carpenters from different European countries who have completed their professional training demonstrate their acquired abilities and accomplishments in competition by creating timber construction projects. The competition is an enormous challenge for the participants and, without a doubt, the high point of their vocational training.

With the European Competition taking place within the framework of the ROOF+TIMBER International Trade Fair, the appeal of the carpentry profession is emphasized. Those who possess dexterity, are good with numbers and dimensions, enjoy working in teams and appreciate physical work will find themselves in good hands amongst carpenters.

At the same time, visitors will be granted an interesting peek into the production processes of timber constructions. You won’t just have the opportunity to admire the skill and knowledge of the young carpenters, but can have the opportunity to become extensively informed about professional work with timber, a renewable and climate-friendly building material.
